A Michelin-starred Mayfair classic with 360-degree views over Hyde Park and London

The Michelin-starred Windows Restaurant, on the 28th floor of the Hilton on Park Lane, offers not only great views across Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace, but also fine cuisine that has recieved a Michelin star every year since 2009.

The food tends toward refined French style, but with respect for local British traditions and a few Asian flourishes.

Unfortunately, not every seat has a window beside it, book well in advance to secure a table with a view.

It doesn't come cheap, with most menus ranging £30–£80 (before wine), and a tasting menu starting at £115.

You'd think such a fancy place would not be family-friendly, but they also offer a kid's menu for just £10 (a choice of classic kiddie main courses, plus ice cfream and a drink).

Windows transforms into a dance club Thursday to Saturday nights after 9:30pm with a DJ, cocktails, and dirty burgers.
